Shoes, shoes, shoes!

Anyone that knows me, knows how obsessed I am with shoes! I have learned a few things throughout the years about shoes.

I have 10 tips to share with you. Here are the first two:

1. Make sure they fit your feet perfectly (or as perfectly as possible, I should say):

a. Just because you always wear a certain size, it doesn’t mean that size in any pair of shoes will fit you right. Try them on and walk with them, more than a few steps!

b. If you buy online, for very high heels, I suggest,go a half number up. If they don’t carry half sizes and they don’t have your usual, don’t go one size up or down, unless you are fine dealing with having to return them in case they don’t (which is what most likely will happen)

2. If the heel seems to be too high, it probably is.

a. If you still want to give them a shot, make sure they are the right size (tip #1) and walk around, REALLY walk, not just a few steps. Make sure you walk not only on carpet but in some other type of shiny floor, like tile. This is because shiny floor creates less friction between the sole and the floor and makes high heels harder to walk in.
